The function of the Jury Commission is to qualify jurors for service to the Courts as a Petit, Grand or Coroner’s Juror and to make available sufficient numbers as required. The source for these potential jurors is a combined list of the drivers, voters, IL identification cards and IL disabled ID cardholders of Madison County.

Trial by Jury is a keystone of our system of justice. Jury service is therefore, both an opportunity and an obligation of every American citizen.
